WHAT IS RESONANCE ARCHITECTURE?
A new method of architectural form generation based on the algorithms that already exist within nature. We don’t draw or create the forms, we capture them in their natural state from the geometry of music in harmonic resonance.
We have become accustomed to living in box-like shapes, many without ornament or decoration. Most buildings are a function of the cost per square foot.
But as society drifts further away from a deeper connection to self, we've come to examine our physical environment, and how it has a proven negative effect on our health and well-being.
We are here to change the relationship between human habitation and nature.
Using a biomimetic approach, we make resonant structures and environments to experience harmonic frequencies in a physical space. When you experience these structures, you are visually entrained into a meditative state.
WHAT WE DO
We design resonant structures that hold a specific frequency.
This type of architecture has not been created before because the technology did not exist. We use parametric design and sacred geometry to generate form.
The intention of this technology is to physically experience a feeling of interconnectedness with all of existence. As we know, our physical environment changes our genetic response, and purely geometric forms provide a visual equivalent to sound healing.
WHAT IS RESONANCE?
Resonance is an increase in the vibration amplitude of an object, caused by another object vibrating at the same frequency. When sine waves interact with a sacred geometric container, the resulting waves cause an amplification of the original frequency.
What we are mapping is the geometry of music itself, freezing it in time. By using these forms to create architecture, we will be able to visually experience the music we hear but cannot see.
